Golan Heights: Episode 20 — Reserves Arrive
The arrival of Israeli reserves was one of the decisive mechanisms of the Golan campaign. The forward defenders had fought not simply to hold ridges and strongpoints, but to buy time for civilian reservists to reach units, draw tanks, load ammunition, fuel vehicles, form crews, and move onto the plateau.
